Hello, lovelies! It's been a few weeks, hasn't it? I hope you all are having a beautiful start to the year. Today, I'm back with a post detailing my bucket list for 2026! I am trying to romanticize my life a bit more, so I figured a good way to do that would be to come up with a list of activities and hobbies to participate in throughout the year. If you're looking for some bucket list inspiration, keep reading to see what is (hopefully) in store for me for 2026!

1. Read More Books
This past year, I definitely did not read as much as I wanted to. So, for 2026, I plan on increasing the amount of books I read throughout the year. I don't have a specific total that I am wanting to achieve, but I'd like to at least read 3 more than I read last year. One book that I have ordered and that I am looking forward to reading is Bad Creek by Peyton June. It is a new release that features mystery and supernatural elements at a camp setting. I am trying to branch out with the genres I focus on, so this definitely sounds like something that is new but still up my alley. Other books I am interested in include If You're Seeing This, It's Meant For You by Leigh Stein and A House With Good Bones by T. Kingfisher.
2. Journal More Frequently
I have always loved writing in a journal and creating pretty designs on the pages. I didn't journal as much in 2025, so this year I'd like to create an entry at least once per month. I've found that using stationery tools like stickers, stamps, and markers help to keep me interested in the process. I also am really getting interested in junk journals where the goal is to add items from everyday life (receipts, ticket stubs, pressed flowers, etc.). I have a mini junk journal that I'd also like to get back into. As for stationery tools, you guys know that I'm always a fan of Stationery Pal (use code 'SYDNEY' for 16% off) because of their fair pricing and wide selection. Other good places to find stationery tools include Etsy, Rifle Paper Co., and Paper Source.
3. Get More Earthy
I really love plants and flowers, but I'm not always the most dedicated or skillful when it comes to actually taking care of them. However, I find that my back patio feels even more peaceful and serene when I have plants and flowers decorating it. So, my goal here is to get 2-3 plants and keep them alive and healthy for the remainder of the year (and, ideally, longer). I also want to have more local flowering plants to help support pollinators like butterflies and bees in my area.
4. Go To A U-Pick Farm
The idea of picking fresh berries and wildflowers has always appealed to me. There is a local u-pick farm not too far away from me that I'd love to check out during the summer months. They offer a variety of options to choose from, such as blackberries, wildflowers, and figs. I've never been able to check out this space, so it is definitely something I want to try this summer!
5. Find & Make Yummy Recipes
I definitely want to cook at home more this year, especially now that I have a crock pot! I think that cooking can be such a fun and tasty outlet that I'm excited to try more often. After a long day at work, though, it can be hard to get the motivation to make a full meal. However, since receiving a crock pot as a gift (great gift idea, btw!), creating delicious meals has been so much easier. So far, I've made a variety of recipes such as chicken curry and beef stew. Hopefully I can find and make at least 2-3 new recipes, whether they are for a slow cooker or not. I'm really excited to get more into cooking this year!
There they are - my 2026 bucket list goals! I'm looking forward to (hopefully) achieving all or most of these goals before the end of the year. Do you have a bucket list or goals for 2026? If so, let me know what they are in the comments! Until next time, lovelies!
