Beauty Review: Earth Harbor's Samphire Serum

Hello, lovelies! Wow, it's been a while, hasn't it? Sometimes time really flies by before you realize it. Luckily, I'm back today with a product review. We're taking a look at the Earth Harbor Samphire Sea-Retinol Digital Serum. Also pictured is the Earth Harbor Tidal Rose Crystal Hydration Toner. I purchased this serum on my own back in February and have been using it fairly consistently since then. Let's get into the reviews to see how well it performed!

Packaging

This brand definitely understands the assignment when it comes to aesthetically pleasing packaging. I love the clean, minimalistic appearance. The packaging evokes a beachy, effortless vibe and the little wave graphic on the bottom fits perfectly with this theme.

Ingredients

I was very curious to try this product out mostly due to the ingredients. The main ingredient that interested me is the bio-retinol. Retinol is a great anti-aging product but can sometimes be harsh on the skin. I was definitely curious to see if this plant-based retinol alternative performed as well without the irritation that sometimes occurs. Other powerhouse ingredients include 2% botanic BHA as well as pre- & post-biotics.

Application

This serum applies quite smoothly on the skin. It thankfully does not take long to sink in and dry after application. There is an expectation for a mild cooling sensation during the first few applications.

Results

I was very pleased with the results from this product. It left my skin feeling smooth, tightened, and balanced without discomfort. I personally feel that it decreased the appearance of any potential fine lines and wrinkles that may have been present prior.

Value

If there is one aspect of this product that was a bit of an issue for me, it is the pricing. There is 1 ounce (or 30 milliliters) of product in the jar and the serum is priced at $45. While there are certainly more expensive serums out there, it is still somewhat surprising to see this amount of product being sold at this price. That being said, I can definitely understand that the potency of the ingredients as well as the ethical and sustainability goals of the brand contribute to this pricing.

Verdict

Overall, I am fairly happy with this serum! I am certainly satisfied with my results currently and I'm excited to see the future results that will come after further continued use. If the price point is doable for your budget, I would absolutely recommend giving this a try.

If you decide to give the Earth Harbor Samphire Sea-Retinol Digital Serum or any of their other products, definitely let me know! I'd love to hear how YOU feel about any of the items that I review here!

Until next time, lovelies!

    4. This sounds like an excellent serum. The price is mid range for sure, if you get good results or the ones that you want it is worth the price tag.
