I have had a love/hate relationship with workplace styles for the longest time. Sometimes I feel that the dress code requirements of many workplaces can be very limiting, and that it almost puts a damper on my sense of style. Other times, I feel a sense of power from dressing in a more professional and elegant manner. This seems to be quite the dichotomy that I have been experiencing since, well, I started working.

Handbags are probably one of my favorite accessories, and there's nothing like the extra confidence boost that comes with carrying a stylish bag to complete an outfit! I feel that a good bag can really tie an outfit together while making a statement in the process.

One of my favorite leisure activities is going for an afternoon picnic. I live near several parks that are great for picnicking. My favorite is along the river, and has a gorgeous view!
